Synopsis

A young man is set up on multiple blind dates with a variety of less-than-desirable potential partners.

Impressions

This was a project for a digital arts class at UC Irvine. The premise was really funny and my part was very brief. For this role, I had to dress in gothic style with Goth make-up, which led to a lot of strange looks on the bus on the way over to the shoot. My only job was to sit there and look surly, which was very easy to do. It’s surprising how much downtime a film actor has even for a brief featured extra role. It takes such a long amount of time to set up the shot and get everything exactly the way the director wants it. It was helpful this early in my film career to get the experience of observing everything that has to be done before filming can begin.
